Food/Onam Kit for Palliative care patients (Mala, Thrissur)

We have received a request from sister (Elizabeth Augustine) who is currently in Bangalore but supporting a palliative care (Alpha) unit in Kerala. Please refer the attached PDF for their request and more information about the Palliative care services.

As of now, they have around 2000+ registered patients which include patients who are terminally ill, paralyzed or are suffering from deadly diseases like cancer. All these services are given completely free of cost and without any terms and conditions, irrespective of their caste, creed, gender or religion.  We have received a few photos and videos from sister Lila and it is really sad to see the conditions of their health.

Considering the poor financial situation of these families, there was a request from sister if we can support at least 25 families with food kit which cost approximately 1000 rs. This is one time activity, and we will look at if any further support is required for their kids’ education or such matters later.

They have identified 25 families located in Mala , Thrissur and shared their names and Panchayat.

Would request all of you to go through the attached photos/ videos and suggest if we can proceed on this.
