A small fundraising request has come to us through a friend for A.L.P. School, Kavassery, Alathur, Palakkad.
The school has around 180 children and is looking for a laptop that can be connected to their projectors and used for classroom teaching. I have personally verified the request and confirmed that it is a genuine requirement.
Dear Friends,
Tomorrow, October 12, marks 20 years since we started this journey...
It all started with a very simple thought - could we do something together, however small, to help someone in need?
The name A Tiny Step... itself was inspired by something very simple from Mother Teresa:
“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”
After hearing about our grocery-support initiative at Matha High School, Mannampetta, St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Velupadam, Thrissur, has approached us seeking similar support for its students.
The school is the sole educational institution serving children in the hilly region of Varandarappilly Panchayat. Many of its students come from economically disadvantaged families, including children of rubber-tapping workers and daily-wage labourers. The teachers already do their best to support these children, but the need for assistance remains significant.
The Headmaster has requested support in the form of monthly grocery kits containing essential household provisions for deserving families.
Good afternoon,
let me thank once again for the computer which you have given to our institution, moreover to our children. As the half year is gone, the students have gained practical knowledge of the computer.Thank you so much for supporting. May God bless you and your team.
Dear Antony and team, The water filter and solar heater are not working in the boarding. We find it difficult to provide children with safe drinking water and hot water for bath.

2025–2026
June to April · Halbarga
Dear Friends,
Greetings from Snehasadan Boarding, Halbarga.
With hearts full of gratitude, we are pleased to present the Annual Report of Snehasadan Boarding for the academic year 2025–2026. We sincerely thank you for your generous support, prayers, and concern for the education and holistic development of our children.
Dear all,
A quick update on our grocery support initiative at Matha High School, Mannampetta:
We now support 20 children monthly, reached 45 in December, and have impacted 220 families with ₹2.32 lakh in total support.
While we continue regular monthly support for 5–6 children who are in extremely difficult circumstances, we also try to rotate support among other deserving families so that more children can benefit over the course of the year.
Attached is a short summary tracker of the support so far, along with a few photos from recent distributions.
Fr. Augustine introduced this school to me during his recent missionary visit, and I had the opportunity to speak with the sisters over a video call. They are doing truly herculean work, running the school despite ongoing conflict and tension in the area, often risking their lives, just to ensure these children have a future. Their immediate need is support to set up a small computer lab. I am in the process of getting a formal quote from the local computer shop; the estimated cost per system is ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. Our group can support two systems, and I am hoping to raise funds for one or two more through individual contributions.
