Fund raising for Vinayan and family - Request for support

Hi Antony,

I am driving a fund raising to support a family in my hometown.

His name is Vinayan, a daily-wage worker who is suffering from lung issues leading to reduced oxygen level in blood. This issue started few years back, and then onwards he is not able to work, or even walking 100 meters makes him breathless. His father had same disease and that lead to death around 2017 timeframe.

 

For now, they depend on very less income from his wife, who works as domestic help nearby. His aged mother is heart patient and not in a health condition to work. He has 2 young daughters, one in UP and other in LP grades. They study in nearby school, where education is free, however need to spend for books, uniforms and transportation.

They have a small house in 5 cents of land, but not even plastered and having only very basic facility. Due to medical expense incurred for him and his father, they took 3.5L loan from co-operative society by keeping property documents as security. However, due to his health issues and further medical issues he couldn't pay it back. Now with interest, have to repay 5.5L and co-operative society started attachment process. 

He also needs medicines that cost nearly INR 4000 per month, but not able to afford that as well. One of my friend supports him by giving an amount every month but that helps only for 15 days medicine. I personally visited them in February and also discussing with the bank directly for best options.

The goal is to help them to get to stable state by:

1. Paying 5.5L towards loan and close, so that they will have a place to stay which is immediate need

2. Support for medical consultations and daily medications 

3. Educational expenses for children - this may not be huge, approx. 11K per child per year (which includes transportation)

Let me know if any kind of help can be extended for this family.  I am trying my best to close the loan this month so that additional interest will not be added.
