Sr from Akashaparavakal called me last week and mentioned that most of the dining plates at the Ashram are broken and whether we will be able to help to buy new steel plates. She requested for 45 plates and I immediately agreed.
I mentioned this conversation to my colleague Ananth, who has been wanting to help them ever since I took him to the Ashram ( In may, when the terrace grill work was going on) immediately came forward and he said he will take care of the expenses.
I bought the plates ( 48 - 8 packets with 6 pieces in each) on Sunday and went along with Ananth on Monday to hand it over to the folks @ Ashram. The total cost was 4750/- and a big thanks to Ananth who came forward to help them.
