Request help for the treatment of the student that we helped

While doing the background check of the families of the students that we helped with laptops/tabs, we had figured out that they have much bigger problems that are health related and financial issues. I had requested Jinesh to keep some of these families in the radar and had asked him to reach out to us if any of them needs any help.

Got a call from Jinesh yesterday around 1:45 PM for a financial help to discharge (M.O.S.C medical college hospital, Kolanchery) one of the student that we helped. They were short of 8000 Rs. I spoke to them immediately and  we transferred 8K by 2PM. Big thanks to my friend Praveen and his sister for bearing these expenses!

Please see the mail from Jinesh below for rest of the details: I'm not attaching the attachments/bills that he sent here as it has personal data.

Dear Antony & friends,

Last week we handed over the laptop to Sajan's family. They live in the panchayat colony house. Sajan and his wife are labourers.  In the case of Sajan, one of his legs is having a disability. He has 3 daughters studying for 3rd diploma, 12, & 10.

His daughter Archa Sajan (3rd year diploma) was undergoing some treatment at Idukki Govt medical college hospital, and a surgery was due.  Due to the covid related changes they could not get the surgical treatment from govt hospital. As the situation worsened, on the 30th they went to Kolenchery hospital (M.O.M.C.H) and surgery happened yesterday. Today is their discharge and the total bill is 39K. He could collect only 31K through local means. They have a shortage of Rs.8000 to complete the discharge of Archa Sajan from the hospital.

I am attaching following supporting documents.
1. ID cards (school, polytechnic)  of 3 students
2. Picture taken during the laptop handover to understand the situation of their house
3. Ration card (Pink-BPL) with the details of family members
4. Hospital bills.
5. Bank account details (passbook page)

You may contact the family on 8547772###. Any help to this case is highly deserving and appreciated.

Thanks,
Jinesh
