I'm constantly in touch with Kuttayi's family since last couple of weeks and he is recovering well :-) :-) Please see the detailed updates from Jinesh below. Totally, we gave 30k so far (20k from internal fund that Mathai transferred, 5k from Lijo and 5k from Raman). Big thanks to all.

Dear Antony and Team,
Today I met Kuttai's relatives. This week he is in Idukki, next week he will be going to Jubilee mission hospital. His condition has improved drastically. Now blood circulation restarted on his foot.. some more puss is there but now that is very less compared to earlier conditions.
His body color itself is getting changed to the original color. They expressed their immense happiness for your timely support. Now he can avoid amputation. He got his leg back.. your team's prompt support deserves due credit for this.
I myself was confused at some decisions related to his treatment.. Anyway, your followup calls gave them a lot of confidence. Finally everything turned in the right direction and his medical condition is progressing very well. At Jubilee mission hospital doctors realized his financial situation and they are supporting him to minimize the expenditure also. They are allowing him to go home with the equipment which is attached to his leg. Now he will have to visit hospital weekly once for the next couple of weeks.
I personally consider this case as one of the most fruitful work done so far.. Your team managed to avoid the daunting picture of a laborer without leg. Thanks a million for this act of humanity.. Conveying Kuttai and his family's thanks and happiness to all of you. I will meet him soon and at that time I shall share his smilies :)
Thanks,
Jinesh
