Financial support for Ms.Pooja's medical treatment (cancer patient)

This came through one of my friend and it's genuine case.  They have shared all the medical records of Pooja. We can either transfer directly to the hospital (Tata Memorial Hospital , Mumbai) or to her account directly.  I have attached the hospital details after the mail below along with the process.  My suggestion is to release 50K from our internal fund.  Please post your comments and let us close it this week itself.

 It was pleasure talking to you over the phone, as discussed please note Ms.Pooja ( Patient ) is a resident of Goa and her father Mr.Kamlakar Shetkar is a farmer . Mr.Kamlakar has three kids and wife with Ms.Pooja being the eldest. Their financial condition is very poor. The only income source is Pooja. Since she has been hospitalised, the  family is suffering due to financial crisis, they are not in a position to raise the funds for the patients treatment.

They have shifted from their home town ( Goa ) to Mumbai for treatment, they have rented a small room in Mumbai for which they have paid Rs.75,000/- as advance and with a monthly rent of Rs.12,000/-.

To have immediate medical support, the patient had to resigned from the job so that she could start the medical treatment from the settlement amount she got from the company.

The patient’s father has borrowed hand loans from different people to raise Rs.1.75 to 2.lacks for her treatment, food, stay  and transportation.

She has undergone 2 rounds of chemotherapy and Doctors have suggested her for 2 more rounds , along with that she has to get a complete check-up of her heart as the doctors doubt that there might be infection spread to her heart.

They have to be there in Mumbai for another 3 to 4 months for treatment with the burden of Food ( for 2 people ) and rent, other than Medical expenses.

Ms.Pooja needs additional  Rs.1,50,000/- to Rs.2,00,000/-  to complete her medical treatment along with her food and stay in Mumbai.

It would be grateful of you to help her financially to complete her medical treatment. Hope you have understand the current situation she is suffering in.

The bank details of the Hospital is attached for your reference.

The Hospital has requested us to get the following formalities completed from your end, after the fund transfer.

·         Please find the attached bank details as desired , after when the funds are transferred from the concerned trust, we need the confirmation from the particular trust stating the amount has  been transferred for the following patent, mentioning the details of patient case number and name, and receipt in favour of for acknowledging the receipt.

Please note, I know the patient for more than 3 years, she was my colleague based out of Goa unit and the above furnished details are authentic
