We delivered furniture for 8 more families @ Maniyarankudy with Jinesh and his dad's help....All these families have lost their home/land in the landslides that happened in August. Most of these families are staying in the temporary rooms provided by KSEB.
We have been able to help 19 families so far, thanks for all your generous contributions !
All the people who lost their homes are yet to receive any support from government yet and lot of them are still staying in temporary shelters. Unfortunately, all the politicians, medias (and most of the people) are busy discussing Sabarimala, Bishop's case etc :-(
Special thanks to Jimmy, Shelly, Nirmal and an anonymous friend for chipping in for these 8 families (Total furniture cost was 76K INR). More details of the expenses can be found here:

Here are the details of the 8 families that we helped on Nov 12th
1) Soman (54 years ) and family - He is a daily wage worker (kooli pani) and he lost home/land in the landslide. Currently staying in temporary room given by KSEB.
2) Shashi P B (62 years) - Not working. Lost home/land in the landslide.
3) Sajeev P (44 years) - Lost home/land in the landslide. Currently staying in temporary room given by KSEB.
4) Leela Sukumaran (67 years) - Lost home/land in the landslide. Currently staying in temporary room given by KSEB.
5) Jibu (39 years) - He is a daily wage worker and lost home/land completely in the landslide.
6) Selin Joseph (54 years) - Joseph and Selin are farmers and they lost home/land along with all household items.
7) Saju K N (46 years) - Saju is also a farmer and lost home, land and all household items in the landslide.
8) Sheela K B (48 years) - She works in a ayurveda hospital. She is a widow and have lost everything in the landslide. Her son Midhum came to collect the furniture.

Pulicken, it will takes months together to get any support or you may not get it from the government. Good job
