Run with a difference - Sneha Run 2017 pics

A morning to cheer, support and liven up the spirit of kids living with HIV -  Apart from raising funds for children living with HIV, this annual run aims to make the society collectively think about the future of Children living with HIV/AIDS in relation to World HIV/AIDS day.



We started around 5:45 AM reached the venue (Snehadaan, Sarjarpur road) by 6:30 AM and was pleasantly surprised to see the huge turn out. Kids from Snehadaan were already waiting there with banners to welcome everyone.

There were people across all  age groups - toddlers to senior citizens and lot of volunteers. Guess there were around 1000-1500 people !! Full credit to the organizers and all the volunteers for organizing the event so well. It was a great experience for all of us, especially for Joe and Tony. In fact, Tony finished ahead of all 3 of us and there were lot of people to cheer him seeing his passionate run !  Apart from supporting the cause, these kind of events will definitely help our children to know the world around them and I believe it will go a long way in making them a responsible and mature member in the society.  

I hope we will have a bigger participation from our group in the coming years.
