A touching response...

I have been contacting various vendors for setting up an aquarium for the children @ Snehadhan... All of them are completely business minded and didn't care or bother to even listen when I tried explaining the context/cause and the reason why we are doing this..... But then I got this response from one of the vendor.....very honest, touching and with a very reasonable quotation... ...thought the mail is worth sharing ......not disclosing his details in this forum for obvious reasons....Will mail you the quotations separately...read on......

Firstly, i need to commend the effort and dedication put in by you & your team relating to all the causes i read about on your blog. Hats off to you guys and may you continue your wonderful initiatives and transform more lives for the better.


 

Secondly disadvantaged kids are a cause close to my heart and being a differently-abled individual my own journey from an engineering drop,fighting depression and doing my diploma from a wonderful organization , Association of people with disabilities,( http://apd-india.org/), which gave me the confidence to be an entrepreneur has taught me the importance of early intervention so that we can make a positive difference in their lives. 

Keeping all this in mind i am sending you a quotation for a 2 feet community aquarium. I have reduced prices anywhere between 25-50% on all the items mentioned in the quotation (including fishes), but i will be honest and tell you that i have kept a small profit margin as we are a small store with runnings costs to meet. I hope you understand that. 

I will send you the quotation for the 3 feet Aquarium later as my aquarium builder needs to confirm costs for the same ( i will specifically mention about Snehadaan to get a better price) as also with the fish supplier since for the 3 feet tank we will be using Cichlid fishes.

In the meanwhile do let me know if you have any clarifications.
